New Delhi, India – We Are the New World brought together an extraordinary confluence of diplomacy, music, fashion and purpose in an unforgettable evening that celebrated the universal values of Unity, Humanity and Sustainability.
The evening opened with a moving poetic rendition by Anita Chandradath Singh, spouse of His Excellency Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to India, setting a heartfelt tone of peace, compassion and shared humanity.
The powerful message of Music for Peace was further reinforced by inspiring addresses from His Excellency Chandradath Singh and Her Excellency Hanisha Jairam, Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname to India. Their presence underscored the vital role of cultural diplomacy in fostering dialogue, harmony and global understanding.
A spectacular visual presentation featuring more than 50 models, gracefully dressed in shades of blue, paid tribute to water—the source of all life. Presented by the H2O Movement, PACT (Par Anand Charitable Trust) and the Give Life Foundation, the showcase delivered a compelling call for the world to unite in protecting our planet’s most precious resource, reminding audiences that water is the foundation of life and a shared responsibility for all humanity.
The entire evening unfolded against an evocative original musical score by Avvakend, featuring Gems.one, with music from the upcoming feature films “The Next Testament” and “Your Best Nightmare,” creating a deeply immersive and cinematic experience that beautifully carried the audience through the journey of hope, purpose and transformation.
The emotional pinnacle of the evening was the grand finale, “Ik Mik,” featuring an original composition by MDP – Modern Day Philosophers, Saaki & Jerry, creatively presented by Dr. Sanjaanaa Jon. As artists, diplomats, models and guests came together in one voice, the finale became a stirring anthem of unity, reminding the world that beyond every border, language and culture, humanity is one family.
